Synopsis

A mysterious stranger gets off a train and wanders into a small town. With his aged face, and his single bag, he goes into a pharmacy that’s about to close, to buy some aspirin. That is when he meets a retired French teacher who invites him over to his place to give him a glass of water. Though they have nothing in common, they bond and realize they would have liked to live each other’s lives. The teacher longed for adventure, while the traveler wished for a quiet existence.
