Synopsis

Demonstrators are all over Paris. A friend asks Mr. Jean, an ex-hippie and a unionist who now owns a bookstore in the “Latin quarter”, to help out with the negotiations. While the neighbors enjoy this unusual day to browse at Mr. Jean’s, the bookstore becomes the headquarters of the social struggle.
