Synopsis

Artemisia, 17, is the daughter of a famous painter, Orazio, with whom she shares the love of painting. But in 1610 Italy, women are not allowed to take class. She will however hang on to her dream, learning from her father and later on from young Agostino. Beyond painting, Agostino will teach her about her body, alive with desire and passion.
